We proudly welcome Jewish families from all backgrounds, regardless of affiliation or level of observance, creating a truly inclusive and vibrant community.

Daily schedule

Our school day begins with arrival at 7:45 AM, and dismissal begins at 2:45 PM. Parents are welcome to pick up their children anytime between 2:45 and 3:00 PM, with the school day officially ending at 3:00 PM.

Younger children enjoy about an hour of outdoor play and recess daily, while older students have 45-minutes of outdoor time weather-permitting. Lunch is a 30-minute break for all students.

Extra-Curricular

The academic schedule is enhanced with enriching activities, including weekly art classes and physical education offered in a double block session once a week. Students actively participate in events such as the Spelling Bee and the School Science Fair. Field trips and celebrations complement and extend their classroom learning, making education a well-rounded experience.

Jewish Life at CJA

Approximately one-third of the academic day is dedicated to Hebrew language and Judaic studies. These learning blocks emphasize critical thinking, text-based exploration, and higher-order cognitive skills, providing a rigorous and meaningful educational foundation.

Each week concludes with a Friday assembly, where the entire school community participates in a lively Parsha discussion.

Our Derech-Eretz values program is introduced each Hebrew month during a Rosh Chodesh event. Throughout the year, students showcase their creativity and growth through various events, including theater productions, dance performances, and musical presentations, all of which strengthen their connection to the Hebrew language and their Jewish identity.
