Chabad Jewish Academy serves the greater Jewish community of coastal Carolina. Established in 1987, CJA has grown from humble beginnings with a steadfast vision to prepare generations of Jewish children for academic and life success. Our growth is deeply rooted in the support of the vibrant Jewish community of Myrtle Beach and its dedicated leaders.


We embrace students and families from across the spectrum of Judaism, focusing on shared values while encouraging individual exploration of Jewish identity. CJA remains committed to preserving the values that inspired its creation. Our graduates emerge as tomorrow's leaders, equipped with a solid academic, ethical, and religious foundation, ready to impact their communities positively and beyond.

Founded in 1987, Chabad Jewish Academy is a co-educational K-8 private Jewish day school dedicated to providing high-quality academic education infused with Jewish values and literacy, Hebrew language fluency and love of the land of Israel. All in a nurturing and loving environment. We prioritize the holistic development of each child, emphasizing academic, social, and spitiual growth. Campus

CJA’s campus is located in the heart of Myrtle Beach adjacent to the local schools and the recreation center. We are home to preschool, elementary, and middle school.  Our facility was custom-designed in 1987 and underwent a significant renovation in 2022. Our spacious classrooms are equipped with modern technology, supporting academic and social-emotional learning commitments. Our campus also features a soccer field, basketball court, playground, outdoor learning area, gazebo, and student-tended garden.

Curriculum

CJA offers a rigorous dual-language curriculum in English and Hebrew, nurturing each child's academic, emotional, and spiritual growth. Our approach integrates best practices to support individualized learning and cultivate well-being and a strong Jewish identity.

Bridges Afterschool Program

Bridges provide study hall, tutoring, and enrichment from 2:45 to 4:00 pm​
